AIEEE Entrance Exams

All India Engineering Entrance Examinations (AIEEE) is amongst the famous exams for admission in engineering/architecture bachelor courses throughout most of the leading engineering/architecture institutes across the country.

Eligibility for JEE
For admission through AIEEE a candidate needs to pass in Class 12th. A candidate can only appear for AIEEE 2011 if he/she has passed/appearing class 12th in 2011 or 2012.

AIEEE is one of most popular engineering Entrance examination for BE/BTech aspiring students across the country. Every year a huge number of students from all over the country take part in this examination to get admission in the different reputed NIT's and state level institutes.

Those who want to appear for BE/BTech entrance should necessary have Physics and Mathematics in class 12th and at least one of the subjects among Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science or Biology.



Examination Format/Pattern
It comprises of two exam patterns, i.e. one examination pattern is for the engineering admissions in the country and the other one is for the architectural admissions. The examination pattern for the engineering studies consists of one paper, which in turn comprises of questions from mathematics, physics and chemistry.

An All-India Engineering/ Pharmacy/ Architecture Entrance Examination (AIEEE) is conducted by CBSE, Department of Secondary and Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development in compliance with the directives of the Government of India, for admission to degree level courses in Engineering, Pharmacy and Architecture in Central Universities.

Conducted by
IEEE is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) therefore the syllabus of AIEEE is from CBSE class 11th and 12th syllabus.

Accepted By
All India Engineering Entrance Exam is optional and considered to be highly competitive exam for those aspiring to get admission in NITs or other top colleges. Therefore students begin preparing for it much before the actual entrance examination.

Engineering Entrance Exams
AIEEE stands for All India Engineering Entrance Examination. The test is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), on all-India basis for the candidates, who desire to seek admission in undergraduate Engineering.
