AIPMT Entrance Exams

All India Pre-Medical / Dental Test are amongst the toughest examination of India that offers applicants to take admission in different reputed medical colleges of India. AIPMT is very important for all the students throughout India aspiring for medical/dental bachelor courses.

India Pre-Medical Pre-Dental Entrance Examination Test


This All India Pre-Medical Pre-Dental Entrance Examination (AIPMT) 2011 will be held in two stages. The first stage of the examination is scheduled for April 3, 2011. Those who qualify themselves in the first stage of this examination can show for the second stage of the examination scheduled for May 15, 2011. AIPMT Entrance examination 2011 is going to be held on 3rd April, 2011. This entrance examination is being conducted completely for the 15% merit positions for the Medical/Dental Colleges of India.



Eligibility Criteria
A candidate should be between 17-25 years of age as on December 31st, 2011. There is a relaxation of 5 years in upper age limit for ST/ SC /OBC candidates. A candidate MUST have passed 12th or be appearing in 2011 with the subjects Chemistry, Physics, Biology and English.

Examination Format/Pattern
All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Examination comprises two rounds of examination to take admission in this entrance test. The Preliminary test would consist of one paper that contains 200 objective kinds of questions with four options and a single correct answer from the core subjects including Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The answers are required to be answered on special machine-gradable papers by using Ball Point Pen only.

The duration is 3 hours. Those students and candidates, who qualify in the preliminary round, are eligible to appear for the final round of examination. The final test paper would comprise two sections each of 2 hours duration. Paper-1 would include questions from Physics and Chemistry and Paper-2 would include questions from Biology. The final round will also have non-objective kind of questions. Candidates can choose question papers either in English or in Hindi language.
