NLU Delhi Entrance Exams

National Law University, Delhi holds an All India based Entrance Examination in order to undertake admissions to its One Year non-residential P. G. Diploma in Judging & Court Management programme for those law graduates who want to join judiciary.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should be a law graduate with at least 50% aggregate mark. Candidates who belong to backward class are offered relaxations in the percentage eligibility criterion.

National Law School Delhi Exams


National Law University has been known to be amongst the premium based Law University in the nation. The University is fairly young and was established recently in the year 2008 through an act passed by the Delhi Government which was actually an initiative of the Delhi High Court.

Examination Format/Pattern
The Entrance paper will be of 90 minutes containing 150 multiple choice questions from the following sections:

  • English: 35 questions
  • General Knowledge/Current Affairs: 35 questions
  • Elementary Mathematics: 10 questions
  • Legal Aptitude: 35 questions
  • Logical Reasoning: 35 questions



NLU-Delhi holds an Entrance Exam undertaking for admission in its PG Diploma Programme. The entrance exam of 60 minutes comprises of 100 multiple choice questions. Total number of the seats in the programme is 50. The Exam is held annually and has been designed to test both patience as well as knowledge of the aspirants.

Exam Related Dates
  • Date of Entrance Exam: Last week of September, 2011
  • Last Date for the receipt of the completed application form: Mid week of September, 2011

NLU entrance test is conducted by National Law University, which offers admission in the courses of NLU University.
