About Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University:
Named after the first chief minister of erstwhile Madhya Pradesh, Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University (PRSU) was established in 1964 for providing higher education at Under Graduate and Postgraduate level.

The university is recognized by the UGC and it is also the member of Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The University has a sprawling campus in the western part of the city of Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh. As far as the territorial jurisdiction of the University is concerned, it covers the entire southern and central parts of the state.
The University offers Doctorate, Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Diploma, PG Diploma and Certificate courses in several disciplines i.e. courses like Diploma in Watershed Technology, Personnel Management, Industrial Courses etc. The university has initiated several self financed courses in some departments also.
