Jamia Hamdard is a DEEMED University and is accredited 'A' grade by NAAC. It is also recognized and funded by UGC. Since the day of its inception it has expanded to one of the best universities of India. It is located in Hamdard Nagar area of New Delhi.
Jamia Hamdard university offers courses at all the levels of higher education viz. undergraduate programs, postgraduate programs and research programs (PhD). The University has added several new programs to the existing curriculum that includes graduate and post graduate programs in information technology and computer applications.
