DA-IICT, a premier educational and research institute in information and Communication Technology is recognised by UGC in 2004. The institute is a non-affiliating university and does not receive any aid or other financial assistance from the Central or State Government.
DA-IICT offers educational programs at the Certificate, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. Apart from these courses, the institute also offers different programs meant for the working executives, practicing professionals, and government officials.
