Dharmsinh Desai University was granted the status of Deemed University in 2000 and it has been accredited with ISO 9001:2000 certification for its quality education standards. It is also the member of Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
The University offers large number of undergraduate courses, postgraduate courses in Engineering & Management and doctoral programmes. The university also conducts the bachelor level degree courses in Dental Science, Pharmacy & Commerce. The University also conducts continuing education programmes for professionals and under-privileged sections of society.
