Popularly known as Nirma University, Nirma University of Science & Technology was established in 1996 with a view to promote excellence in management education and to prepare young men & women to meet the challenges of the developing corporate world.

In a short span of time, the institute has emerged as an excellent business school and is well equipped to bring out the best managers for the nation. The institute is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 2 (F) of UGC Act.
At present, the institute offers courses in various disciplines like Master of Business Administration (Full-Time), Master of Business Administration (Part Time), Master of Business Administration (Family Business and Entrepreneurship), Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), Executive Diploma Programmes in Management and Executive Education Programmes.
