About South Gujarat University:
South Gujarat University was formerly known as South Gujarat College and it came into existence in 1967. In the year 2004, the university was renamed as Veer Narmad South Gujarat University (VNSGU) to honor the famous scholar and eminent poet of Gujarat, Narmad.

South Gujarat University is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and is known for its quality education. The university has been accredited with B++ Grade by NAAC and recognised by UGC.
