Popularly Known as HAU, Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University is one of the Asia's biggest Agricultural Universities located at Hisar in the Indian state of Haryana and it came into existence in 1970. The university was named after Choudhary Charan Singh, a former prime minister of India.

The university was established by an act of Parliament for imparting education in agriculture. Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University is member of Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and recognised by UGC.
The University offers large number of undergraduate courses, postgraduate courses in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Food Science and Technology and Home Science. It also offers doctral programs in the field of agriculture.
