About Guru Jambheshwar University:
Popularly known as GJU, Guru Jambheshwar University was established in 1995 by an Act of the Legislature of the State of Haryana. The university was named after the Guru Jambheshwar Ji Maharaj, a saint environmentalist of 15th century.

GJU is an A Grade University as declared by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, NAAC. The university is member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and recognised by UGC. The University was established with the objectives 'to facilitate and promote studies and research in emerging areas of higher education with focus on new frontiers of technology, pharmacy, environmental studies, non-conventional energy sources and management studies.
The university is offering a wide range of academic programmes/courses at post-graduate and under-graduate level.
