Science Career Guidelines

To introduce career and market-oriented, skill enhancing add-on courses that has utility for job, self-employment and empowerment of the students.

The institutions and colleges should offer a wide range of career-oriented subjects in various related areas.
At the end of three years, the students will be equipped with a Certificate/Diploma/Advanced Diploma in an add-on orientation course along with a conventional degree in Science/Arts/Commerce.
There should be no watertight compartments and students should have the freedom to diversify into different fields not necessarily related with their core discipline. For example, a student pursuing a bachelors' degree in a science subject could side by side pursue a course in Event Management. Job opportunities are expected to be best for graduates of applied science technology programs. These students and candidates are well trained on equipment used in industrial and government laboratories and facilities. Following increasingly development of more complex techniques used in industrial research, development, and production, employers seek candidates with highly developed technical, computer and communications skills.
